Attorney Jennifer Mott’s practice focuses on intellectual property, business law, and real estate. She provides business consulting and transactional services such as entity selection and formation; negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts; and advising business owners in “business divorces.” Ms. Mott’s varied real estate practice ranges from reviewing commercial leases and deed restrictions to work with homeowners’ associations to update subdivision architectural guidelines. Although prepared to litigate when disputes arise, Ms. Mott also pursues efficient, collaborative solutions outside the courtroom to meet her clients’ goals and needs. In her intellectual property (“IP”) practice, Ms. Mott assists clients with trademark and copyright applications, assignments and licensing, and also with broader brand protection strategies and assessments. She has represented clients at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and coordinates international brand protection with law firms outside the United States. Ms. Mott also works with clients on domain name disputes, IP infringement, and other issues that arise when doing business online.
