Darius H. Mahmoudi was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, and graduated from NAU with a B.S. in Sociology. He received his law degree with magna cum laude honors from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, CA, and served as President of the UC Hastings National Lawyers Guild. Darius returned to Flagstaff with the goal to help serve the legal needs of the Northern Arizona community and joined AWD Law in November of 2021. His practice areas include civil litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury. Before joining AWD, Darius served as a judicial extern in the Complex Civil Litigation Unit of the San Francisco Superior Court where he assisted members of the judiciary with matters including class action, consumer protection, and shareholder litigation. Darius also dedicated time to serving low-income residents in the Bay Area at the nonprofit Legal Aid at Work where he was a Law Clerk, and clinical counselor in the workers’ rights and wage claim clinics. In his free time, Darius enjoys exploring the backcountry with his dog and fishing at the creek.
